Hibo helps users connect external SaaS accounts, such as Slack, Notion, and Google Drive, so their own workspace content can be used for search and long-term context inside their Hibo account.
We collect account information you provide, authentication information needed to operate your account, billing and usage records, and content you choose to connect through external integrations.
When you connect Google Drive, Hibo requests access only to the Google Docs you select for Hibo. Hibo stores OAuth tokens encrypted and may store indexed text, metadata, document IDs, titles, source URLs, and sync status for those selected Docs.
Hibo uses Google user data only to provide user-facing connector features: connecting your Google account, reading selected Google Docs, searching selected Docs, indexing selected Docs for your own Hibo context, refreshing that index, and showing connection status.
Hibo does not use Google user data for advertising, does not sell Google user data, and does not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. Hibo does not modify Google Drive files in the current Google Drive connector.
Any use or transfer by Hibo of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless you ask us to help with a support issue, we need to investigate abuse or security issues, we must comply with applicable law, or the data has first been aggregated or de-identified.
We may share data with infrastructure, database, authentication, payment, logging, and hosting providers that help us operate Hibo. These providers may process data only to provide services to Hibo and are not permitted to use it for their own advertising.
We keep connected content and connector metadata while your account or connection remains active, unless a shorter retention period is required. You can revoke a connector in Hibo or from your provider account settings. Revoking Google Drive access stops future syncs; you may also request deletion of stored connector data.
